AG Asmita Gupta & Co Chartered Accountants · Investment Advisory

About the firm

A small practice,
kept small on purpose.

Asmita Gupta & Co has been auditing, filing and advising for over five years from one office in Zirakpur. We have grown by referral rather than by campaign, and we would rather turn work away than hand your file to somebody who has not read it.

A calm, well-lit professional office with people working

The practice

Two disciplines that
should never have been
separated.

The firm began the way most do, with audits and returns for a handful of businesses nearby. What became clear quickly is that the questions clients actually lose sleep over are rarely statutory. They are about the money left after tax: whether it is enough, where it should sit, and what happens to it when they stop working.

Answering that properly meant building a second practice alongside the first: planning and portfolio work paid for by the client and no one else, and a property desk that brokers in this region on disclosed terms. The compliance work keeps the numbers honest; the second practice decides what to do with them.

We intend to stay this size. The principal reads every file, and you will not hear about a notice from an assistant three weeks after it arrived.
